ENGRAVING & IMPRINTING TEXT AND LOGOS
How do you prefer artwork for logos?
 
We prefer electronic artwork sent to us by e-mail at [email protected]
Sometime, if artwork is poor, a one time set-up charge of $55.00 applies to logos that are imprinted.
Be sure to include your name and order number, and any other pertinent information. We accept PC based vector graphics/artwork in the following formats: EPS, Corel Draw (CDR), and Adobe Illustrator (AI - version 8 or below). Convert paths to curves and text to outlines. In general, bitmaps and files such as JPG, TIF, GIF, or PSD are unacceptable. Scanned files are also unacceptable. A $50/hr additional charge will apply to all artwork that needs re-working, fixing or touch-up. Please be aware that these above parameters and charges apply to one color logos.
I want to know what it will look like!
 

We want you to see what your plates will look like.  Therefore, before we engrave any plates, leaves or header plates, we will e-mail you a .pdf sample layout (e-proof) for your review.  E-proofs are a FREE service, and help all parties involved feel more comfortable with how the end product will look. We will need to know if the proof is acceptable to you before we start production, therefore it is important for you to e-mail us back and state your approval.  Waiting for your approval may cause a delay.
Imprint charges and getting the right copy imprinted?
 
All our products on this website include free engraving/imprinting on the header plate only. All individual plates and leaves are an additional charge for engraving/imprinting. This added charge is per plate/leaf, and can be found in the product description. When ordering products, if you desire imprinting on 60 plates/leaves or less, you will be able to specify your quantity in product options. The additional imprint charges will then be added to your cart at check-out. If you specify that you require more than 60 plates/leaves imprinted you will not be charged for imprinting at check-out, and instead we will contact you to make arrangements for paying your additional imprinting charges.
Imprinting logos, special borders, and non-standard characters on plates, leaves or header plates, may incur an additional charge. Typically, if suitable electronic art is supplied, the fee for logos on a header plate free. Additional charges may apply if the artwork needs to be touched-up or reworked.
Please remember, in all instances, we ask that you e-mail us after placing you order and specify your name, order number, quantity of plates/leaves to be imprinted, and the copy for each plate/leave and header plates.
What methods are used for putting copy on plates?
 

We use primarily "in-house" laser engraving, rotary engraving, direct to substrate printing or sublimation.
